About this Variety
Chandler is an everbearing strawberry variety which, as the name suggests, produces a first crop in spring and then subsequent crops at several week intervals throughout the summer well into fall. Everbearers are not sensitive to the length of day. This makes them desirable for gardeners who seek a supply of berries over a longer season instead of all at once. Chandler's fruit is typically bright red, both internally and externally, large and conical in shape, and known for its sweet, rich flavor. Suitable for fresh consumption as well as processing. This variety is known for its high yields. Well-suited for temperate climates.
